Rahman Murtuza

Mr Rahman Murtuza is the Chief Executive of The Tourism & Business Institute of South Africa.

Rahman has spent 28 years of his career with Sun International and nearly 40 years in the Gaming and Hospitality industry. As an MBA graduate himself, Rahman has applied his vast knowledge and experience of all aspects of the service industry to the creation of the Institute that provides extensive training courses of international standards.

His vision extends to creating an atmosphere of personal and intellectual growth that will produce leaders in gaming, hospitality and business management. These leaders will be able to thrive in a multitude of careers, both locally and internationally.

Rushmina Luttoo
Rushmina Murtuza

Ms Rushmina Murtuza is the director of Legal Affairs for the Institute.

Rushmina completed her International Baccalaureate Diploma at St. Clare’s College, Oxford followed by a Law Degree (LLB with Honours) at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. She holds a Masters Degree in Family Research at the same University. She has been practising as a Legal Consultant for the past five years, specialising in Commercial, Family and Labour Law.

Zakiyya Murtuza Peerun
Zakiyya Murtuza Peerun

Mrs Zakiyya Murtuza Peerun is the Director of Manpower Development at the Institute.

Zakiyya graduated with an honours degree in Law from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Prior to that she had successfully completed the International Baccalaureate at St. Clare’s College, Oxford. She has several post graduates certificates in management, investments and other fields. Zakiyya has worked in the intense financial and banking sector for several years prior to concentrating on Manpower Development.

Roxanne Newman

Roxanne has been at TTBISA since 2009 and has become a central figure in the daily operations of the Company, ensuring that our high quality standards are maintained on every project that we oversee.
